Unique Self-Drilling™ Bone Screws incorporate a sharp twist drill point tip to pierce and drive the exact size hole during screw insertion eliminating the need for drilling a pilot hole. Screws can be driven with ACE's corresponding Spline Driver or the industry standard cruciform, slot, or square drivers(3.0mm HD-1.25mm square; 2.5mm HD-1.0mm square). Cutting flutes extend into the self-tapping bone screw threads for easy insertion. Bevel screw head fits standard bone plates. Milled flat on the screw head for a positive position; locks into the surgical tray. Unique positive lock spline drive screw head combines the industry standard square and cross-slot geometry for maximum screw seating torque application. Guaranteed positive lock pickup and delivery of the bone screw to the surgical site.
